COURSE DESCRIPTION

This qualification applies to individuals with a sound theoretical knowledge base in marketing and communication and who demonstrate a range of managerial skills to ensure that functions are effectively conducted in an organisation or business area. Typically they would have responsibility for the work of other staff and lead teams.

SCHEDULE TIMELINE

It is planned that a student will complete all 12 units of competency within a calendar year of commencement.

  • Delivered over 52 weeks of institutional based training and assessment
  • 12 weeks school break
  • 20 hours of face to face study per week
  • Approximately 10 hours individual study per tuition week

CERTIFICATION

Participants who successfully complete this course will be issued with a BSB52415 Diploma of Marketing and communication. A Statement of Attainment will be issued to participants who partially complete this course.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • The student must be 18 years of age or over
  • Completed year 12 (HSC or equivalent)
  • Have sound communication skills:
    • Provide IELTS certificate showing a score of 5.5 or above (or equivalent)
    • Undertake and successfully complete The One International College Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment and achieve ACSF Level of 5
  • The following training package entry requirements apply to this qualification:
    • Have completed all five core units of BSB42415 Certificate IV in Marketing and Communication
    • Be able to satisfactorily participate in pre-enrolment interview
